Located in Linmei Village and next to Wufeng Waterfall, the museum introduces visitors to kumquat and its processed products. Kumquat(also called lime, golden tangerine) is a fruit that has a golden-yellow appearance and sweet-sour taste. Due to its golden colored appearance, it is taken as a symbol of auspiciousness. There is a kumquat processing factory in the Kumquat Culture Museum and processes kumquat into preserved fruit. Its sour taste leaves a deep impression on many people. The township established the Kumquat Culture Museum under the funding from the Council of Agriculture of the Executive Yuan and Agriculture and Forestry Department of Taiwan Provincial Government. The museum aims to develop exquisite local agricultural industries and promote a variety of kumquat products.
