The Jiaoxi Township Hot Spring Swimming Pool opened in September, 1999, and has greatly benefited locals ever since. It is a favorite spot among local schoolchildren during the summer break. In order to further benefit the local residents, Jiaoxi Township Office renovated and reopened the swimming pool in July 2014 with a whole new look. A new electric sun screen for the swimming pool, hot spring piping, showers and toilets were revamped and upgraded. The new electric sun screen and with a total area of 806 square meters covering the entire swimming pool and hot spring pool. The sun screen pillars were also painted with vibrant colors to symbolize vitality and hope so that swimmers can enjoy leisure in a better environment.

Travel Tips

From January 31, 2022 (Mon.), the pool will be closed for 210 calendar days due to the renovation of the public hot spring pool. The date of reopening will be announced at a later date. Admission is free of charge for children under 3 years old, senior citizens from Jiaoxi over 65 years old, and people with physical and mental disabilities.
If an accompanying caretaker is required for a physically or mentally disabled visitor, the caretaker will be entitled to free admission if he/she has a certificate stating that he/she is required to accompany the visitor to enter a scenic spot, recreational area or cultural and educational facility.
Half-price tickets are available for purchase, however identification documents must be presented for admission.
